建築家、デザイナーなど多方面のクリエーターとアクリル加工工場との共同開発によるアクリル素材のプロダクトプロトタイプの展覧会「とうめいのかたち」展のカタログ。展覧会後にはアクリル加工工場のセールスツールとしての機能をもつことが求められた。表紙には加熱型押しされた部分が透明化する特殊紙パチカを使用し、展覧会ロゴ、展示物アイコンが「とうめいのかたち」として表現されている。

“The Forms of Transparency” was an exhibition of product prototypes created by a consortium of artists and designers working in collaboration with an acrylic manufacturer.
To bring the unique, artistic, three-dimensional expressions of the transparent acrylic forms into a two-dimensional brochure, I used a thermal reactive, resin based “printing” process which causes the paper to become transparent. A fold out design was used to make the catalog into a unique souvenir.
The name of the exhibition, “the forms of transparency” was represented typographically over abstractly photographed acrylic products. The posters were displayed in art schools, galleries and various other locations in order to attract design enthusiasts and potential acrylic factory clients as well as the general public.
