18年間の山中俊治氏のプロダクトデザイン全プロジェクトを集約した書籍。その全ての作品を撮り続けた清水行雄氏の作品集でもある。製品写真に加え、製品コンセプトを山中氏のスケッチとエッセーで語られている。清水氏の写真の再現において印刷会社との綿密な打ち合わせ、立ち会いでの細心の注意を注いだ。
This book illustrates a collection of products designed by Shunji Yamanaka over the last 18 years. It also functions as photographic showcase for Yukio Shimizu who has been capturing Yamanaka’s work through the same period. The challenge of this project was to clearly focus the reader around each topic, Yamanaka’s concepts and Shimizu’s photographs, in a manner that emphasizes each, yet is still balanced and complementary.
